The Billings Polar Bears had to overcome a good performance from Squirrel Hill pitcher Clayton Thomas to claim a 2-1 win at The Igloo. Thomas went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. The winner was Edward Pritchard in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Cipriano Rosas took the loss. Billings has a record of 2-1.

The Polar Bears procured the win, in large part because of pinch hitter Takeichi Hashimoto. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
