Plymouth Beats Jersey City, 7-4

The Plymouth Rocks picked up a win at Jersey City Grounds, knocking off the Jersey City Tritons, 7-4. Starting pitcher Lance Farmer was a big reason why. Farmer, now 3-0, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing 4 runs. Ari Schaller recorded his 13th save for Plymouth.
It could have been a different outcome for Plymouth, had it not been for Dan Webb, the 26-year old designated hitter . Webb contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Plymouth up, 5-4.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Webb told the Plymouth Today.
With the win, Plymouth raised its record to 22-10.
