Redlegs Come Up Short at Alaskan, 2-1
|
The Alaskan Humpbacks got a magnificent performance from pitcher Wilson Tamayo, who muffled the Sacramento offense en route to a tight 2-1 Humpbacks win at Sea World. Alaskan goes to 16-15, Sacramento to 12-19.
Ishaan Swan, who leads the PAAA in runs scored with 27, aided the Alaskan cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the left fielder drove in one run.
Tamayo said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
