The Syracuse Starks topped the Milton Dogfish Head, 4-3, in M3L Triple A action at Stark Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Syracuse pitcher and Naucalpan, Mexico, native Felipe Arreola. Arreola got the win, improving to 3-5. He allowed 3 hits and walked 3 over 7.2 innings. Arreola allowed 3 runs. Picking up the save was Jorge Torres, his 9th.

Had José Villa not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Villa hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Starks.
