Drummers Win, 4-1, at Nolensville

Tortolita and Nolensville duked it out and the Drummers came out victorious.
The Tortolita Drummers defeated the Nolensville Knights, 4-1, at Nolensville Park today. Leading the charge for Tortolita was second baseman Soshal Distan Singh. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Lester Broughton, credited with the win, is now 3-2. He allowed no runs on 2 hits. Jérôme Fleury closed the door for Tortolita, picking up his 3rd save of the year.
In the top of the first, with the game still scoreless, Singh hit a 3-run home run to put his team in the lead.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Singh.
Nolensville, at 18-24, has lost 6 straight.
