The Forest City Warriors beat the Hamilton Coyotes, 3-2. Forest City pitcher and Slaton, Texas, native Lance Mascola led the way. The winner was Forest City reliever Bret West, now 2-0. The loser was George Atwater. Hamilton drops to 8-5.

Keith Garner was the walk-off hero for Forest City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Warriors left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Mascola said after the game.
