The Forest City Warriors topped the Port Royal Disaster, 9-3, in M3L Triple A action at Ballpark of Port Royal. The standout performance belonged to Forest City pitcher and Slaton, Texas, native Lance Mascola. With the win, Forest City improves its record to 5-3.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Qing-nian Zhai? The Forest City third baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the Warriors on top, 2-0. For the game, Zhai had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
