Brass Rally For 4-1 Win
|
Baton Rouge Brass starter Ángel Díaz turned in a top-notch performance against the Sunset District Fog at Fog Park. The result was a win for the Brass, 4-1. Carlos Rosado earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3.2 innings. His record is now 2-0. The win moves Baton Rouge to a record of 4-2.
Francisco De La Cruz provided a timely hit. The Baton Rouge right fielder delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Brass on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
"I just tried to make good contact," said De La Cruz.
