Pennsauken picked up a win at Pennsauken Park, toppling the Bakersfield Nobles, 7-4. Pitcher Stephen Reed was one of the reasons the Flyers triumphed. The winner in relief was Wilson Molina. He is now 1-0. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. Bakersfield now has a record of 2-1.

Frank Mallam helped out the Pennsauken cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the catcher drove in one run.
