Northern Lions BC Lose to White Walkers, 1-0
|
In a tight game between the Buffalo White Walkers and the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, pitcher Dusty Fox was terrific on the mound. The Buffalo right-hander helped his team to the 1-0 win. Buffalo reliever Isaac Patterson was the winner. His record is now 2-2. The losing pitcher was Jorge Souza. The triumph puts Buffalo at 17-10 for the season.
Buffalo took control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and a runner on 3rd, Yoshiki Shimizu hit a run-scoring single to make it 1-0, White Walkers.
Shimizu said his team "played with focus."
