Tucker goes 3-for-4 to Power Voodoo Offense
|
New Orleans catcher Leonard Tucker had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Buckhead Bowties, 7-4. The winner in relief was Russ T. Nayle. He is now 2-0. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. The Voodoo, now 8-3, have hit the ground running this season.
Tucker had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-1 cutter from Chin-yau Liu, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Voodoo a 6-4 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Tucker.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Tucker told the New Orleans Chronicle.
