White Walkers Rally to Eke Out Win
Buffalo pitcher Harvey Wyles did his part in helping his team beat the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Mario Rosales, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit. Buffalo has a record of 5-3.

Buffalo used a clutch hit from Melvin Thomas to snatch the win. The third baseman belted a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the White Walkers ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

Ft. Worth manager Scott Thompson said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
