Bullets Stumble, Lose to Elite
A 4-RBI performance from the 26-year old right fielder Niek Bendt helped the Detroit Elite beat the Baltimore Bullets, 11-4. Detroit now has a record of 51-47 with the win.

With Detroit leading 5-1 in the top of the fifth, Bendt came up to bat against Baltimore pitcher Craig Wash. Bendt hit a fastball to left-center for a grand slam home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Elite on top, 9-1.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Bendt told the Detroit Daily News.
