José Torres Injured, Out for Season Sunday, May 6th , 2046 The doctors have spoken and José Torres of the Memphis Music didn't like what he heard. The 21-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Torres sustained his season-ending injury during the Beaumont Crossbeaus game yesterday at The Stage in Memphis. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Memphis medical staff reported Torres had a torn meniscus and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4-5 months. |
