Sea Dogs Segar Raps 3 Homers Tuesday, August 1st , 2045 It was a good day for the Maine Sea Dogs and an exceptional one for Evan Segar. The 20-year-old first baseman sent three bombs out of the park to help the Sea Dogs beat the Memphis Music 7-3 at Sea Dogs Park. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Segar said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 4 times, drove in 5 runs and smacked 4 hits in 5 at-bats. Evan Segar hit a solo-shot off Kevin Brown in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Kevin Brown in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Kevin Brown in the 6th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
