Ogallala's Morales to Miss Season Thursday, July 26th , 2046 When Jimmy Morales was hurt against the Amarillo Warheads, the Ogallala Octopi were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 18-year-old starting pitcher suffered radial nerve compression throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Morales would miss 4-5 months of the season. To date this season, Morales has registered 13 starts, 3-3 won-lost mark, 3.50 ERA, 74.2 IP, 49 strikeouts and 24 walks. Opposing teams have hit .269 against him. |
