Season Ends for Jorge Enríquez of Fort Knox Saturday, September 1st , 2046 The season is finished for Jorge Enríquez of the Fort Knox Centennial. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Centennial starting pitcher suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Shady Side Zoomies. Team doctors said it would take at least 9 months to heal. In 17 starts this season, Enríquez has recorded 6 wins and absorbed 6 losses. He has pitched 95.2 innings, allowed 79 hits, struck out 78 and has a 3.10 ERA. |
