Melanson Rips Bethlehem for 5 Hits Thursday, August 9th , 2046 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Jon Melanson of the Quebec City Baby Blues had one of those moments when he went 5-for-5 at the plate today in the 11-2 win over the Bethlehem Angel Kitties at Kittie Park. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 20-year-old shortstop told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Jon Melanson hit a two-run double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
