Alexander Swats 3 HR Against Fort Knox Thursday, July 26th , 2046 Dave Alexander of the Flanderses won the battle against Fort Knox pitching, but lost the war. He hit three out of the park at Ballpark of Baxter, got his name in the league record book, but Hudsonville came up short in the win column, losing to the Centennial 10-7. The Hudsonville center fielder was red-hot, the ball just exploded off his bat all day long. "I don't try to hit homers," he said. "I try to go out there and have good at-bats. If I put a good swing on the ball, then it is going to go out of the park. I didn't try to hit the first one or the second one or the third one. I just try to have good at-bats." For the game he went 3 for 5 with 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Where does he rank this day in his career? "It's up there," Alexander said. "I'll put it up there in the upper echelon, despite the loss."
