Turner Tames Flanderses 5-0, 15 Ks Wednesday, July 18th , 2046 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Jon Turner, the Ladue Rams topped the Hudsonville Flanderses today by a score of 5-0 at Hudsonville Park. The 20-year-old Turner brought his top game to the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing 1 hit and giving up 2 walks. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Flanderses manager Mark Davis said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." In 7 starts this season Turner has chalked up a 6-0 record and a 0.96 ERA.
