Koyama Socks It to Harbor Whales, Cracks 5 Hits Monday, June 25th , 2046 Yuichi Koyama was smoking all game at the plate, but couldn't finish his day with a victory cigar. After the 21-year-old Ladue Rams catcher tallied 5 hits in 8 at-bats, he was forced to watch as his club dropped the 8-7 decision to the Greenport Harbor Whales. "That was no fun," Koyama said to reporters after the game. "You hate to lose any game but it's even worse somehow to feel like you did enough to win." Yuichi Koyama grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, walked in the 7th, struck out in the 9th, singled in the 11th, singled in the 13th, singled in the 15th and grounded out in the 17th.
