Bowers, Souza Suspended for Fracas Tuesday, June 5th , 2046 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Tulsa-Germantown contest at Ballpark of Hughesville. The Otters Jason Bowers and the Uruguayans Francisco Souza will have to sit out 4 and 9 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Looking at his season stats, Bowers has compiled a .250 batting average and a .397 on-base percentage, while hitting no home runs and driving in 7 runs. This season Souza has logged no saves. He has thrown 16.1 innings, dished out 10 strikeouts and walked 8 while putting up a 1-2 mark and a 7.71 ERA. |
