This promising rookie shortstop for Providence garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 27-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .800 (8-for-10) with no home runs and 3 RBIs last week. This year Ashpenaz has 1 home run and a .294 batting average. |
