PAA Outstanding Hitter Award Goes To McLean
Monday, October 8th , 2046
The manager of the Virginia Beach Whales said he thinks George McLean is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 24, but it will be hard to top the right fielder's 2046 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the USPL Double A Outstanding Hitter Award.
His winning campaign featured a .317 batting average and a .449 on-base percentage this year. In 101 games he piled up 115 hits, 21 doubles, 2 triples, 27 home runs, 72 RBIs and 87 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Pablo Peñaranda of the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles finished second in voting, while Justin Cooper of the Athletic Club KC Academy finished third.
