Premier AA Champions Crowned Monday, September 17th , 2046 The pennant has been won, the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles are champions of the Premier AA. Third Baseman Pablo Peñaranda said his team is a "gritty and determined" club that were poised to win the division from day one. "We knew the day the season opened that we'd be champions," he said. "It was just a matter of going out there and doing it." At the helm, team manager Vincent Parker said his club is certainly not short on confidence. "There's a lot of belief in the dugout and in the clubhouse," he said. Mercer Island's record currently sits at 67-33 and it's the 18th division win for the franchise. |
