Rails Shut Out by Kelly, 8-0 Saturday, June 16th , 2046 In a remarkable performance, Squirrel Hill Pierogis starter Eugene Kelly beat the Richland Rails 8-0 in an impressive 4-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Pierogis hurler finished with 9 strikeouts and no walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," Richland manager Dave Orchard said following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
