Nomura Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Monday, June 4th , 2046 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Athletic Club KC Academy's Katsuya Nomura made it happen today against the Pilgrims. Everything came together at the plate for the 21-year-old catcher as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Athletic Club KC Academy to a 18-3 win at KC Academy Field. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Nomura said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Katsuya Nomura singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
