Gulf Coast's Andropov SAA's Best Monday, September 17th , 2046 So far in his young career, Pikup Andropov has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Gulf Coast Turbeaus first baseman hit at a torrid .643 clip as he collected 9 hits in 14 at-bats, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year Andropov has hit 13 home runs and posted a .346 batting average. |
