Chesapeake Starter Wins August's Pitcher Award Saturday, September 1st , 2046 When Raúl Abreu takes the mound, a Chesapeake victory is usually the result. That was the case in August. That's why he was voted the USSL Double A Pitcher of the Month. Abreu throttled league hitters the whole month with an impressive 3-0 mark and 1.50 ERA in 4 starts. The Cangrejos Fantasmas star hurler also rung up 18 strikeouts in 30 innings. To date this season Abreu has compiled a 6-5 record with a 2.87 ERA in 15 starts. |
