Playoffs? No Chance for St. Petersburg Friday, August 24th , 2046 The St. Petersburg Thunder will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 2046 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as St. Petersburg was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 9th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2028.In total, the Thunder have missed the playoffs 15 times in their 17-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Thunder have only made the playoffs once. St. Petersburg last won the SL AA Championship in 2028. |
