Kwon Earns SAA Player of the Week Monday, August 13th , 2046 21-year-old Sang-chul Kwon made a few Olympia headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 7 hits in 16 at-bats to put up a .438 average. Kwon collected 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 5 runs. On the year Kwon has hit .274 with 20 home runs, 52 RBIs and scored 36 runs. |
