Valdéz Picked Best Player Monday, May 28th , 2046 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Double A, but last week Leonardo Valdéz of the Barton Springs Blues reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Valdéz rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (10-for-20), 2 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Valdéz is batting .405 with 3 home runs. His totals include 12 RBIs and 7 runs scored. |
