Blues Azevedo Out Rest Of Season Saturday, May 26th , 2046 The season is finished for Graviel Azevedo of the Barton Springs Blues. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Blues closer suffered an arthritic elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Ithaca Fighting Imps. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal. This season Azevedo has earned 4 saves, made 8 relief appearances, fanned 12 hitters in 13.1 innings and posted an ERA of 4.05 and a 0-3 record. |
