Hops Yoshifumi Oshima to Miss Year Thursday, September 13th , 2046 A blow for Yoshifumi Oshima today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4-5 months with bone chips in his elbow. Oshima suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Yakima Hops are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Oshima's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Oshima has gone 4-8 this season with an ERA of 4.00 and 56 strikeouts in 54 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .263 against him. |
