Fighting Imps Come up Short of Playoffs Friday, September 7th , 2046 Postseason baseball won't be coming to Ithaca this year. The quest for the playoffs ended for the Ithaca Fighting Imps today, as they were mathematically eliminated from contention. "Not the first time I've experienced this," said Fighting Imps manager Gary Thomas, "but it never gets fun." The Fighting Imps have made the playoffs 0 times in their 15 years as a M3L Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2034. Ithaca last won the 3L AA Championship in 2022. |
