Asheville Loses Rodríguez for Year Friday, August 3rd , 2046 The season is apparently over for Ramón Rodríguez. The Asheville Highlanders medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 11 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Rodríguez was hurt in the game against Crescent City while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This season Rodríguez has logged 17 relief appearances, 35.1 IP, 39 strikeouts, and a 5.09 ERA. His W-L mark is 1 win and 2 losses, and he has 2 saves. |
