Season Over for Vaughn Swanson in Lake Minnetonka Thursday, August 2nd , 2046 A blow for Vaughn Swanson today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4-5 months with a torn labrum. Swanson suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Swanson's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. For the season Swanson has made 10 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark and a 4.80 ERA. In pitching 15 innings, he has totaled 10 strikeouts and 7 walks. |
