Tom MacKissock Injured, Out for Season Friday, July 20th , 2046 A blow for Tom MacKissock today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4-5 months with a ruptured finger tendon. MacKissock suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Akron Blimps are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about MacKissock's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this year MacKissock has a 4-4 record with a 3.76 ERA. |
