Syracuse Devastated by Playoff Elimination Wednesday, September 19th , 2046 Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys manager Stu Henderson said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for a spot in the postseason. Before this season, the Squirrel Monkeys had made the playoffs 4 times in a row. In the 16 years they have been a USSL Triple A franchise, they have made the playoffs 4 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Squirrel Monkeys have made the playoffs 4 times. Syracuse has won the SL AAA Championship 2 times in their history. |
