Squirrel Monkeys William Averett Will Miss Season Friday, September 14th , 2046 The season is ending on a bad note for William Averett, starting pitcher for the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Averett was hurt against the Tortolita Drummers while throwing a pitch. He suffered a stretched elbow ligament and will be out for at least 10 months. In 11 starts this year Averett has crafted a 3-3 record and a 3.22 ERA. |
