This Week's Star Player is Lott Monday, September 3rd , 2046 26-year-old Ron Lott made a few Tortolita headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 8 hits in 22 at-bats to put up a .364 average. Lott collected 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 8 runs. This season Lott is hitting at a .263 pace with 8 home runs, 26 RBIs and has scored 27 times. |
