Big Day with Bat: MacGregor 5-for-5 Saturday, July 14th , 2046 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Darrell MacGregor is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-5 against the Port Huron Blitzkrieg at Wichita Field today. The monster effort from the 25-year-old left fielder helped the Kansas Rainbeaus take the win, 8-4. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Blitzkrieg manager Harrison Blackford. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Darrell MacGregor singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 7th. Batting .315 to date, MacGregor has 5 home runs and 24 RBIs.
