PAAA Announces #1 Player Award
Tuesday, October 9th , 2046
At the age of 25, Steve Hodge of the Pennsauken Flyers could very well have his best years ahead of him.
It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2046 was good enough to win the first baseman the USPL Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."
The top hitter put up a .326 batting average this year, as well as a .410 on-base percentage. He played 86 games and racked up 105 hits, 23 doubles, 4 triples, 24 home runs, 72 RBIs and 53 runs scored.
He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10. Ramiro Curran of the Athletic Club KC Reserves finished second in voting, while Victor de Bree of the Alaskan Humpbacks finished third.
