Week's Top Player: Jersey City's Kline Monday, August 13th , 2046 At the age of 27, Sherman Kline might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Jersey City right fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .421 batting average. For his efforts Kline collected the USPL Triple A Player of the Week Award. He racked up 8 hits in 19 at-bats, 4 home runs and 7 RBIs last week in 6 games. Thus far this season Kline has hit .264 with 16 home runs, 43 RBIs and scored 49 times. |
