Starks Pat Aguilar Down and Out for Year Friday, August 17th , 2046 The doctors have spoken and Pat Aguilar of the Syracuse Starks didn't like what he heard. The 22-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Aguilar sustained his season-ending injury during the Forest City Warriors game yesterday at League Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Syracuse medical staff reported Aguilar had a fractured elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months. This season he has made 5 relief appearances with 1 save. In 9 innings Aguilar has chalked up 4 strikeouts while posting a 0-1 record and a 8.00 ERA |
