Best Pitcher Trophy Won by Piranhas Butler Saturday, November 3rd , 2046 The Panama City Piranhas have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Pat Butler, this year's Menard's Third League Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Butler compiled a 12-4 record in 24 starts, tallied 165 strikeouts in 140.1 innings and recorded a 3.14 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .234 batting average against him. Miguel Pérez of the Nashville Outlaws finished second in voting, while Armando Trujillo of the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC finished third. |
