Javier Guillén Injured, Out for Year Tuesday, September 25th , 2046 Javier Guillén of the Piranhas just might have to call it quits for the season. The 28-year-old Panama City reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Oakland Oaks recently at The Oak Grove. Guillén suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. The Piranhas medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 8 months. For the year Guillén has saved 1 games while posting an ERA of 3.33 and 25 strikeouts in 27 innings. His totals also include a 1-1 record in 10 relief appearances. |
