Time's Up: Avino to Retire Wednesday, August 29th , 2046 Buffalo White Walkers officials flanked Baldomero Avino as he announced his retirement from pro baseball today. Rumors have had him on the verge of retirement since late last week but were not confirmed until today. "I want to leave the game the way I came into it," said Avino. "I don't want to become an embarrassment to myself and the team." To date Avino has a .235 career batting average and has totaled 71 home runs. |
