Lesage Named Top Reliever for SL
Saturday, November 3rd , 2046
When Terry Lesage jogged in from the bullpen this season, opposing teams knew they were going to have a tough time putting up runs.
The Vancouver Grey Wolves closer turned in a dominant campaign and has been named the United States Silver League Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2046.
His award-winning season saw the bullpen ace get 18 saves in 51 relief appearances, 129 strikeouts in 91 innings and only 13 walks. He had a record of 7 wins and no losses to go with his 1.98 ERA.
"I hope I can pitch like this every year," he said.
Michael Knight of the Vancouver Grey Wolves finished second in voting, while Amberlan Romubio of the Colorado Billy Goats finished third.
