Billy Goats SS Joicey Gets the Cycle Thursday, August 9th , 2046 The Baltimore Bullets were too much for the Colorado Billy Goats today, taking a 8-6 win despite the batting heroics of Colorado shortstop Gabe Joicey. In a losing effort, Joicey had a monster game, hitting for the cycle. He collected 4 hits in 8 at-bats with 4 RBI. After the game, Joicey said he was "unfazed" by the outcome. "Look, it's baseball," he said. "Best case scenario, you're still going to lose 40 percent of the time. You can't let it get to you." Gabe Joicey grounded out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Craig Wash in the 4th, hit a two-run triple in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 9th, flied out in the 12th, singled in the 14th and struck out in the 16th.
